I think it is ignorance that makes people think that anyone who is “different” or doesn’t follow social norms as abnormal. This allows them to remain undismayed at the proximity of “normal” to average and mediocre. You follow social norms and religion because they have a long history, a deep vein in the past yet all the scriptures and things you believe in are all based on word. You trust everything you read in a textbook but never question it.
You know there a billions of fallacies in everything you read based on the biases of the people who wrote it. American History would have been written completely different if it was made by the Native-Americans. Maybe it’s because I’ve grown to become less of a believer of religion and only a follower of the certain teachings in the Bible that spoke about compassion to others rather than blindly following what I’m told.
It’s actually funny when those people neglect to notice all the other things written about stoning their wives if they were not virgins before marriage or how wearing jewelry, makeup or braiding your hair is looked down upon by God.
Here are all the contradictions in the Bible.
I’m not just fingering Christians. There are problems with all religions. I don’t even know what this has to do with hooking up. I’m just sick of people using their religion to reprimand me when they obviously don’t even know their own beliefs. I don’t force you to fuck random people, do I?
